Are the Legend Series quietly discontinued?

    So many choices for new speakers as well if it's just getting something comparable to the L800s. It was remarkable that Polk was able to bring the L800s to market at just $6K a pair for a small production run and then sell sets at half off or better. As much as I like them I would say that there are better all around speakers once getting into the $8K to 9K and up range from several different brands. Going for the flagship model isn't at all necessary.

    I also consider the Reserve R700 to be way better speakers than the LSiM707 and those are under $2K a pair on sale.

    Would depend on what style of music you primarily listen to.
