Just bought one of these

The parents have an old Vizio soundbar. Probably 10 years old now. The "bass module" doesn't work at all and I've been unable to repair it. Seems like a conductor run shorted out that was sandwiched between PCB layers. There's no continuity on the power circuit and I'm just not feeling like putting more effort into a $90 piece of junk that has run it's course.

So I got the Signa S2 because it seems to be the simplest on the market and doesn't need fancy cabling. It takes the output from the TV and that's it. So you can use the TV or a Receiver as your input and use them to manage your sources. Way better than the Vizio deal that needs a connection for each source and has the clunkiest interface I have ever seen.

So it gets here Wednesday. Dunno if anyone else has any experiences with it or not, I'd be interested in hearing about them if you do.

Otherwise, I'll just tell y'all what I think when I get around to messing with it.
