Looking for a trio of perfect condition 1987/88 MW6511s or a same year perfect set of 4. Goal is to avoid using the set I have in a speaker that was bought new
Also looking for a perfect condition SW155 passive rad, this is the higher priority by far.
Thanks!

I wouldn't be surprised if you could use a SW150. Maybe the only thing different might be the tuning weight and you could remove that from the damaged one and transfer it over.George / NJ

You can use a pair of the SW150, removing the weight to transfer, forget that idea. The styrofoam is moulded around the bolt while the foam is soft, you'll do much more damage than fix. I've used a pair of the passive radiators from the first gen B/b SRS2 that used all mw6509 drivers in my SRS 2.3tl and couldn't tell the difference between them. If you do not believe me try YOUR passive's from the SRS and see for yourself. -

I did figure it might be glued. If the donor was already damaged and deemed to not be repairable, would be the only time I would attempt to remove one of the weights, maybe with a little heat from a soldering iron on the bolt head. If that went well without damage, would be the only way I would attempt to remove the one on the SW150. Plus it would be interesting for umm....science to know the weights lol.George / NJ
