🚨Giveaway Alert🚨

Please check out our latest Instagram Reel where we cut open some Polk loudspeakers to show off the build quality. This video is a nod to our sales team back in the day who would do this to impress dealers.

From Instagram:

Trick or treat? How about both?

While chainsaws can be scary around Halloween, we hope you’ll enjoy the explanation of our cabinetry build history from Polk engineer Scott Orth. And rest assured, no *working* Polk speakers were harmed in the making of this video.

🚨Additionally, we’re going to give away a pair of Polk R100s as a treat to one lucky winner.

Like, follow, comment and tag two friends to enter. Complete sweepstakes rules attached to this post.

Cool but FYI and FWIW: I don't do Instragram.
I do realize that I don't exactly represent the core demographic here, but it still seemed worth mentioning, albeit barely.
I thought all the cool kids were doing Bluesky or TikTok or... whatever.
    Even X is making a comeback, I hear. :#

Marketing isn't about where the cool kids are. It's about where the most cool kids are. And at this point in time, it's Instagram.

I don't spend much time on Insta, but my kids do. Because of that, I have an account just to follow them. The younger gens don't do Facebook because it is for 'Boomers' according to my kids.

Definitely not Facebook, but Instagram seems like 10 years ago relative to the other big tech platforms gunning for folks' attention. Is Instagram really still big?
    OK, looks reasonably so...

Nice cabinet construction. Some wood glue and biscuits could fix that.

Don’t forget that Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are all the same company too.

They had an Instagram post about it. They said they were waiting to verify the eligibility. There were hundreds of entries on Insta, so probably not anyone here.

why is someone sawing a Polk loudspeaker with what appears to be an EGO battery powered chainsaw?
Do NOT ask me why I can ID the saw...

Congrats. I think they forgot to follow up on Insta. Most people don't go back to look at old insta posts. They slowly disappear down the feed.

To be fair, I missed their initial message and didn’t respond till last week, which was Black Friday, then Cyber Monday. I honestly wasn’t expecting them to ship until next week so getting them now was a welcomed surprise!

My wife said the FedEx guy was struggling with em so she brought them in (I was on a conference call or I would have done the same).

Packaging was phenomenal, with a nice foam insert, then your normal plastic bag covering, with an added very soft fabric covering the speakers keeping them nice and protected. Packaging is definitely getting saved.

At first I thought I’d gotten black versions.

The owners manual was also much better put together than what I’d previously gotten with the older TSi, Monitor, R series speakers.

Likely putting these in the master bedroom to replace the Polk Soundbar I have in there currently.

They do need reasonably good amplification, so keep that in mind. I'd swap those other freebies and the console sub to see what they sound like with that Pathos amp ya got there. You will be surprised how much bass those R200 can make without a sub when you give them clean power.
Er...NM, I forgot those are only the R100.
