Simaudio builds some of the best gear I have yet heard in the comfort of my home. This DAC/Streamer combo features the MiND2 control app, which is able to pull my computer based audio and streaming services together for seamless playback from a tablet or I-Pad/I-phone app. The ease of use is something a neophyte like me can understand, and it is a beautiful beast to look at.
This condition of this particular 680d is as near to out of the box new as it gets. This particular one is in the seemingly rare all-silver finish and is as beautiful to the eye as the sound is to your ears. It's performance is stunning. Only reason for the sale is an upgrade to the Mcintosh C2800 with a built in DAC module. Though the 680d is superior, I can live with the Mcintosh DA2 module until the newer versions come along.
Looking to get $3500.00 shipped. This is an exceptional piece of gear. For the price, nothing out there comes close.

I have the Mc trimmed out so well at this point that my ears cannot hear a difference between the two. I am also looking into the future a bit with the C2800, and the feature set it has checks all the boxes for years to come.The Gear... I used it with Qobuz all the time. The inputs allow for direct connection to your home network or using wireless, so I believe it would work Roon and Tidal as well.The Gear...
