Well, figured I'd share this find with y'all as I re-enter the arena. While on my hiatus, I was forced into some living conditions and didn't have access to a whole lot of audio. All I had was my trusty Galaxy A15 and access to a friend's NAS. I had my IEMs, but wanted to up my game to something a little better.
I had heard some talk about these Fiio, Jade Audio JT1 Headphones and being they're not expensive by any means, I ordered a pair off Ali Express for $57.00 IIRC.
Also wanted to improve quality of my audio, so I also invested in the Alpha Onix Dongle Dac for about $100.00. Both of these turned out to be solid investments, but I'll stay focused on the Headphones.
Over all, these things punch way above their price point in both build and sound quality. They pack a punch with some deep bottom end, but don't sound sloppy at all. Just rich, deep bass with just enough high end sparkle for clarity.
The build quality on these is impressive. The ear cups are detachable by a simple twist should you ever need to replace them. They're constructed with quality material, not that cheap, faux leather garbage you get on lesser, budget Headphones and have a stainless steel frame construction with a comfortable headband. I wore these for extended periods without any listening fatigue at all. The nicest thing I liked about them is the detachable cable. Separate 3.5mm pin connections for both channels and if you're into gaming, the stock cable, which is quite nice comes with an in line microphone built into the cable. Very nice touch.
At a glance, they appear to be an open back design, but they're closed. Not very good as far as sound isolation goes, but at this price they're tough to beat. Amazon link below if ya wanna take a peak. Even at $65.00 these aren't a bad price. Lately, I haven't been able to order anything from Ali Express due to shipping restrictions. I presume it's to do with the tariffs.
Anyway, follow the link if you're interested in some decent cans that won't break the bank.
(Yeah, I'm still a cheap b@$tage)
