Hi gang! Just a quick question on the PA D1000.1 amp. It has a knob for level adjustment to match cars voltage output (if I'm not mistaken?). But it goes from 6V to 200mV. Just wondering where/how to set it to match 12 volts (I assume?). Sorry, bit of a noob over here!
Thanks,

Hello,
I don't believe it is used for matching the car's operating voltage (yes, that's 12 volts) but rather the output voltage of your head unit. For example let's say you are connecting this to a CD player that has an output specification of 1.5 volts at full output. This is what you would set the level control to approximately this amount. Do you know what the output voltage of your head unit is?
Here is the section from the Polk owner's manual:
" Level Control—Adjusts the gain of the channel to match the output voltage from your head unit."
