    Give it a try, see if you like the sound. Get an SPL meter on you phone, run a test tone on your AVR make sure they are at the same level

    other thing, Return the ES10 and sell the HTS then get an HSU VTF2 or SVS PB2000
    When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.
