I figured someone on here would know who is selling the Polk Lsi9's for the best price (New), that could ship them to SC. Any help would really be appreciated.

hello gamecock. I am your purple and gold SEC counterpart;)

Of course Crutchfield is the best place to buy LSi 9s online as they are an authorized Polk dealer; but you will pay retail for them to get the Polk warrantee.

A friend of mine just bought some LSi 7s from Acoustic Sound Designs. They are not an authorized Polk dealer and you have to email them for the prices. The prices are substantially lower however than retail. They also remove the serial numbers from the speakers. He kind of ran into a minor problem with them because they were supposed to ship him two pairs of the new LSi 7 and he got a pair of the older models and a pair of the newer models. He had to return the older model and the guy at Acoustic Sound Designs wasn't too happy. So yeah, if you are looking for the "best" deal this may be it but proceed at your own risk and make sure that you have documented with emails exactly which models you will be getting from him and that the speakers are new and not returned items.

Sound distributors used to sell the LSi online as well but I don't believe they do now either.

    Good luck in your search.

Personally, I'd keep my eyes open on audiogon for a pair as opposed to buying new, but that's just me.

If you are interested, we are having a gathering of Polk folks in Charleston (just of exit 209 on I-26) in October. If you are interested, c'mon down.
