Hah! I'm getting a little jumpy waiting to buy my system - after reading about speaker placement I went out and bought some cables - now I'm back and to keep my urge at bay I decided to buy something (items under 50 bucks usually aren't noticed here). Silver or black? :D

What, you've never heard of a PowerMate? Everybody's heard of the PowerMate. Geez, get with it. :p

(Unlike the name implies, it does nothing sexual in any way. It's a fancy volume control that doubles as a shuttle for video editing.)

ATCVenom - how do you know I'm a Norwegian with blonde hair?

If it were a good size larger...

I would guess a next generation vaccume cleaner that does the job itself... :D

I bought one of those. I plugged it in and it crashed my computer. Was going to use it for vid. editing (I love making movies with my friends) but I guess ill just have to use my high tech touch mousepad hehe. Anyway I ended up returning it after messing with it for a good hour trying to get it to work, never did.

It doubles as a shiny object. :D

PC users seem to have a lot of trouble - buggy software - but the Mac version should be flawless. In the meantime I've acquired something else - a graduation present for my brother that he passed on to me. It'll have to do until my PowerMate makes it here next tuesday (I went for silver - it was winning).

The thing shakes my desk like a dog, though - I see why he gave it up!
