Trying to work with a budget and before dropping any money Id like to ask this here
Has anyone tested this model out both against a wall vs stands? Wall mounted route seems a lot cheaper since its just needed one screw per speaker

Tweeters should be at ear height. Generally, that is better accomplished with stands.Political Correctness'.........defined

I am able to get them ear height on my wall easily -
I would expect them a priori to sound better (more spacious and more transparent) away from the back wall (and side walls, too, actually).
Zero experience with the ES15, but there is a pair of the earlier and slightly larger S20 here (courtesy of a generous and thoughtful Polk Forums denizen). Never tried them up against the wall*, but they sound pretty good well out in the room. A little heavy-sounding, but quite pleasant top to bottom.
A pair of Altec Santiagos serve as good loudspeaker stands to get the tweeters to ear level.

You might want to think twice about wall mounting those speakers.

Just got them on the wall yesterday afternoon. Looks pretty good and I’ll have to keep an eye on them. Probably will get stands here soon when I can budget it. I couldn't use big ole kitchen chairs forever lol

They will sound better on stands, properly set-up for your listening space.
