I am probably going to trigger some of the old heads here by even mentioning an AV123 product, but I was always curious about these, particularly because they share the same Vifa tweeter as my beloved LSi9's and 15's. Stumbled onto a pair, in all places, at a junk removal place for 200 bucks

Heavy, built like tanks.....dinged up but still just north of living room presentable, drivers in perfect working order......at the price and for the curiosity, I couldn't pass them up.

I recently built some Icepower 125asx2 (ICC5) monoblocks, so they are getting plenty of power....and boy do these speakers like it. I wasn't expecting these things to sound so good. warm presentation, lush mids, typical just enough detail without assaulting your ears, nature of the Vifa tweet.

does 2 - 3 hour listening sessions at well over 90db without breaking a sweat.....you just want to keep listening. DO I like them better than the 15's? hard to say.....theyre close enough for debate though. I'd have to A/B them back to back to tell.

I will patiently await my scorn....lol

I liked the rockets. The 760 were one of my dream
    Speakers back in the day.

I remember Mark Schifter well. Before he became… you know.

Always wanted to hear a pair.

I have seen a few pop up used over the years but they are always beat up finish wise.

Av123 pricing was next to impossible to beat

Glad to hear you like them

they just do everything good. they have no major flaw. and the cabinets are ABSURDLY built.....like you can drop them from a goddamn building.

they lean JUST a bit more toward neutral then the 15's. I'd say the bass is probably a little better than the awful stock 8"er the LSi15 came with but the 15's I have probably dig a little bit deeper, but they are just so well balanced, at any volume......they just beg you to keep listening

Never had a chance to hear any AV123 speakers. I remember all the hype.
