Rear Speaker Location
I was setting up a 5.1 system and was wondering the best location to mount Fxi3 rear speakers.
The room is rectangular shaped and the couch is leaning up against the back wall. On both sides of the couch are windows so I bascially either have to mount the rears directly over my seat on the couch or on the side walls.
I am thinking it would be best to put them on ths side walls, but I am not sure if it is a good idea to bury them in the corner. Is it a good practice to mount them on the side wall a few feet up from the rear wall ??? If I mount them exactly parallel to my ears they will be in the corner of the room.

Those speakers are basicaly designed to go on the sides. Put them about two feet above ear level - they should be labeled Left and Right. They will sound great. Don't forget to calibrate......

I will go for the sides but my couch sits against the rear wall.... I was readin other posts that said they should be located parallel to you or a little behind you....
If I put them parallel with me they will only be about a foot off the rear wall.... Is that a big issue.. I guess I can experiment before I actually mount them to the wall
