speaker stands for the ES20
Hello,
Does anyone have recommendations for speaker stands for the ES20's?
I'm revamping my home cinema with Polk speakers and I read the ES20's are a substantial 8.5" wide. I want to make sure I get compatible left/right stands.
Thanks

Where are you located? I’ve got a pair of a Sanus Stands (I think) that I’d let go cheap. I’m in the, let’s say “extended” Dallas area. Not worth the cost to ship though. I used them with my LSiM 703.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden

Keep in mind that it is okay to have stands with a top plate that is smaller than the footprint of the speaker. I use four pieces of blue tack or modeling clay to keep the speakers pretty well "stuck" to the stands and that is recommended by many. Much depends on if you have pets, kids, or other clumsy people around who might bump into them.
That aside, I use a pair of Monoprice 24” quad tube stands like these for my R200, which are close in size.

I have the stands mass loaded with aquarium gravel, which reduces the ringy nature of the metal tubes and also provides stability.
My cat likes to jump on top of the R200 and there hasn't been any accidents in the 2+ years that I've had this setup.

Beware, OP messaged me this morning with an obvious phishing attempt.

It does appear that the OP starts threads yet NEVER responds to any of them.

Thanks for letting us know Dave. That's unfortunate. Makes you want to ignore the ultra low post newbies like this. The cyber security folks would call this social engineering.
