B&K Ref 2220

Local selling one. States no output from right channel after hot switching speakers and accidentally shorting. Seems there should be some protection against this. So I'm assuming he's lying.

Do I want to me mess with this? Asking is $200. Figure I'm looking at $300 min to repair. Guy is selling other audio equipment, so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he's not an idiot, and likely not a fuse.

I've offered $140 based on the unknown factor. Plus I really don't need it.

Reasonable offer. Hope it works out and an easy repair. Worth it to you for something to tinker with? Or are you planning to take it to a shop for repair and refresh?

Test it with your least favorite speakers :)

I can replace a fuse. Otherwise, I'm taking it to a shop. Paul at EBC Electronics has done 2 amps for me in the last few months. It'd go to him. He does great work!
