In wall or ceiling speaker setting?

I'm wanting to add front height speakers to my theater/gaming setup, I'm not certain how I should have the receiver address them.

I have the options in the setting menu of front in wall, in ceiling, or in speaker atmos modules. The actual position however is really high on the side walls and while I can adjust everything in ARC I wanted to set it as close as possible first.

I don't really need much hight/front area as the SDA1s already have sound coming from about 5 ft to their sides and two feet over. I'm trying to fill a gap between the rear surrounds and the front "shell"

Receiver is an Anthem MRX740 8k
Amp is a 5 channel Anthem but I'm intending to run the front height off the receiver directly.
