I just received 2 new tweeters to replace my SL2500s. One of them has this strange looking defect. Will it go away with time, or should I return it?
Also, I was told there would be a new sealing gasket in the box, but there were none. Are they supposed to come with the seal?

No gaskets have ever came with tweeters as far as I'm aware of.
I would call Polk CS and make them aware of the crease. It will never go away. -
Don't hold your breath, there are no gaskets!Political Correctness'.........defined

Thanks. I just got off the phone with customer service. I emailed them the photos and video, and they said they will send me a replacement. They don’t even want the defective one back. That’s good customer service!
They also said they will to look up the part number on the gaskets and get back to me on next business day. (Monday) -
Good on the return.
Make your own gaskets.
What are we using for that stuff these days, guys? Is it Armacell insulation tape from the big box stores?I disabled signatures. -
Armacell yes. Cut your corners on a diagonal and your good.
