Does anyone know of anyone who still uses or collects this stuff. I've got one I want to pass on, I don't use it.

i have pink floyd the wall an beta hifi, but no player. not looking just a comment.
My first "HT" was the beta into a pioneer amp and technique speakers. It was my bar-mitsva stereo. It came with a garrard turntable. I was psyched because all my friends got stack systems for their bar-mitsvah, but i demanded seperates.

Dave,
This is a hi-fi set with an external sound processor. It's in really great shape. I know you don't want it, I just think it's a shame.
It kills vhs, and the processor really does a number with the sound tracks. Maybe I'll set it back up just as a conversation piece. -
although the reasons fade, i always liked betamax, maybe just the size of the cassete, in those days, television audio was non existant other than the little speaker on the tv, when i figured out i could output the sound to my amp and see the wall in stereo i was psyched, so were my friends. I even had the litttle sticker on my tuner for mtv stereo broadcast through fm radio. Of course mtv played vidios then. The betamax was a prise my father won one year for selling more Piper aircraft than any other fbo's That betamax ran forever! Not sure what happened to it. I actually do kind of want a betamax for nostalgia, but nowhere to put it. I think you should set it up, if anything a good conversation piece.
