It's that time of year and if you want to help the less fortunate, Toys for Tots is one of the best ways to do it.

I have seen, first hand, the U.S. Marines in action handling the logistics on this and the full logistical might of the U.S . Navy behind it.

You want to help this time of year find your local Marine recruiter and they will have a Toys for Tots drop available and your efforts will go directly and completely to a less fortunate child. Without a doubt.

One of my clients is a clubhouse in a well-to-do private community, and every year for as long as I can recall (2008?) they put out two HUGE boxes for this very thing. And every year, both boxes get filled up.

Semper Fi, and God bless the USMC for doing this.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

One of the local TV stations (maybe more than one, but at least the one I watch) in Dallas has drop off locations that they broadcast from several times during the Christmas season. They collect semi trailers full of gifts.

More local to me, the Harley Davidson dealership is a drop-off location that really goes all out in promoting this.
