I need some assistance please guys with wiring my doors in and with impedance

So im not totally lost when it comes to audio install but I still haven't quite grasped impedance and ohm loads and how wiring changes them. I'll try to be as brief as possible here. Starting with the deck I'm running aftermarket jvc and at first the stereo shop wired me in but I'm needing to make some changes and I'm stuck. So at first I had a punch 6.5" midrange in both front doors, a prv audio 6.5" mid in rear doors, both 4ohm with prv super tweeters in each of the 4 doors, 8ohms, then to a rf prime600-4d 4ch amp for mids and highs, an sia3500v2 sundown mono amplifier for the 4- 8"sundown sa8v2d4 500watt subs. I noticed my 4ch amp would always be hot. Over time I've burned through no less than 8 of those prv tweeters for whatever reason so I decided to install 2 polk db1000 tweeters in the front doors replacing the newly blown prvs. When I peeled back the speakers and all to replace it I saw they had wired 2 sets of speakers wires from my existing door wiring consisting of 2 small twisted wires. With the 2 pos new speaker wires and the 2 neg new speaker wires together, they were tied to the corresponding pos /- twisted wires in door. So I had 2 white pos wires tied to the pos door wire and 2 black neg wires tied to the neg door wire at the tie in and of course the two pos whites went off to the pos midrange terminal and pos tweeter terminal, same goes for negative black wires. But now I have tweeters that are now 4ohm not 8, and they come with their own crossover which only has in and outs for the tweeter, not mid speakers. So I ran the tweeters pos and neg wires from the tie in to crossover then from crossover to new tweeter. The pos and neg wires for mid went from tie in to mid. Well that worked ok for a couple weeks until I started hearing a pop come from the left front door and not long after my 4ch amp went into protect mode, and have tried everything to get it out and can't. So im out there now just starting clean. I ripped the last two prv tweeters out the back door, clipped wires back to the tie in at the small braided wires and the mids are still mounted and unhooked. I have my front panels off now trying to figure out the correct way to wire the mids and tweeters in with the crossover that came with the folks so I can have it correct for when I get another 4ch amp in there. So the punch mids and polk tweeters are in front doors ready to be rewired correctly. Both 4 ohms. Lastly, I do have a memphis crossover I'm not using. A 16-cx35A which has front & rear inputs, and front/rear/sub outputs. If this will help my situation I can install. I just don't understand what wiring situations changes ohm load or how to check the load with my multimeter as I read that impedance issues may have been a reason my amp went in protect. But that amp was hot to the touch for a long time prior to me changing the tweeters in front but never went in protect until after I changed the tweeters out subsequently from the 8ohm prvs to the 4ohm polks. My mid isn't blown neither is the polk tweeter where I heard the popping b4 the amp went in protect so I dunno if it was a loose connection or what. I didn't see anything wrong or touching when I pulled the panel back off. Btw, the amp is blinking red and blue when powered up in protect. Ive tried many times to power cycle hoping it would go out but hasn't. Nothing looks burnt inside there either when I opened it up.. Anyway, ive blabbed on long enough. Just wanted someone to understand the current wiring situation good enough to explain to me how it should be wired correctly bc I have my truck scattered everywhere right now outside trying to get this done and prepped for the next amp to come. Thanks so much n advance. The last 2 pics are of the back door wiring with the prv mid. The prev pics are all of the front door polk tweeter/xover and punch mid
