If you truly are OCD you'd leave the grills on because they are butt ugly speakers otherwise.

Better than the Polk mini monitors 😂

They actually sound Polk like in my opinion. Very nice full mids and sweet non fatiguing highs.

I have heard the older flagship and the little brother versions of the Tekton's. They have the ability to really shine or be an "okay speaker". They are very sensitive to upstream gear.

In the right room, they can throw a rather impressive soundstage and the big brother is a true full range speaker.

They are actually introducing an even bigger flagship than the existing one. I think this will solve some some things that are (or could be) a little beaming at times with certain instruments and voices.

I was referring to the lineup of Tekton speakers. The little brother, being referred too as the next line down from the flagship speaker.

The mini lore is smallest (littlest bro?) in their line I think.

Their big bros are in the $10,000 range so yeh I would hope that it produces an impressive sound stage 😂

Tekton changes designs faster than an F1 car changes direction. I've even read stories of people ordering a certain design and being sent something entirely different.

Hard to take that company seriously.

I’m of the opinion that certain speakers can just really impress you with their value to performance. My M7s for example. Got those for $150 spent $50 restoring the crossover and those speakers are flat out just better than a lot of modern much more expensive speakers. I consider this to be impressive. My mini Polk's not so much 😂

With a $10,000-$15,000 pair of speakers its absolutely expected that they have impressive sound stage, extended bass so forth and so on .. none of this should be a surprise when you spend that kind of money.

They are actually pretty cool people. Really small company. You can call and most of the time the owner answers. Super nice and extremely knowledgeable guy.

If you listen to one of their more affordable pair of speakers, I'm sure you'd be impressed.

Money means not a damed thing in this hobby sometimes. Just because something is more expensive, this does NOT necessarily relate to being better.

I have heard million dollar systems that you could not pay me to listen too. On the flipside, I have heard relatively low cost systems that were cobbled together at an event that blew me away.....the type of system that one never forgets, kind of good....

Yeh as F1 pointed out I love butt ugly speakers. If I had 10-15000 bucks to waste on speakers I would probably go with the big monolithic Tekton's or maybe some big giant Klipsch. Problem is I don't think either would fit in my room :D

Kinda silly to waste $25000 on one pair of speaker. Could've bought a pair of Tekton, Klipsch and still have money left for a pair of Polk L800.

So, he's ok with reviewers measuring his speakers as long as they send him that info before they publish the review!?!
