Just wondering using the 400.4 amp and having mmc6500 in the front and mmc690 is there any way or should i say is it smart to run the 6500s @2ohms? and the 690s @4ohm at the same time?

thank you in advance to all your inputs.

    No.

The only way to get a 2 oohm load out of only 2 speakers is if they have 2 ohm voice coils or dual 4 ohm coils. I believe Image Dynamics makes some 2 ohm components. However the Polks are not so youre stuck with a 4 ohm load.

You could run the front speakers bi-amped but this would put them over their power handling by quite a bit and Polk speakers dont react well to much more than their rated power.
