Subwoofer to be used on a carport?

My neighbor grills a lot on the weekends. Has a stereo setup on the carport that he moves back inside after the party is over. Or more like the next morning. He has a cheap Boston Acoustics sub he uses but it doesn't have enough presence.
I know, being outside a subwoofer will have limitations. But my question is, can anyone recommend something? I have a dual 18" JBL pro sub I was gonna let him use. But I wouldn't want it left on the carport. And the thing is huge and heavy, a bit to much to be moving in and out of the house regularly.
I Googled outdoor subs....but all I got were subs that look like rocks or mushrooms. Any recommendations?

Tell him to research in ground subwoofers- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.
