Rest Easy Alfalfa…

It is with a heavy heart that I post this tonight. This evening, sometime between 830 and 9 o’clock, coyote jumped 2 fences in our yard and got to my precious Alfalfa. In the area that we live, I have never seen an animal capable of doing this. The Hawks we have in our neighborhood don’t fly at night, so we thought an 8 foot fence in a 6 foot fence dog area, he should have been safe…. He was doing his evening business in the yard while my wife and I were getting the kids to bed. We never heard a thing and based on the remains, my dog never knew what was coming. He was an amazing part of our family, he will never be forgotten. God bless you little buddy and thank you for being a great dog.😭😭😭😭

Daggum, John. Of all of the ways to lose a dog, this one ranks among one of the absolute worst. I'm so sorry for your loss. There's really nothing more that I could say, other than, this just sucks.

Mother nature can be really cruel sometimes.

Please accept my sincerest condolences to your family. RIP Alfalfa.

Tonight, my wife prepared steak kebabs for my boys and I couldn’t even look at the steak. It made me want to throw up just looking at it. Just a month ago I was the one to discover her father‘s body after he passed away. We didn’t see him for three days And it looked like he suffered a heart attack shortly after we saw him last. Combine all of this with almost $20,000 in sewer line repairs to the house in my ongoing recovery from a surgery and this last three months has been nothing but huge piles of excrement.

…. And just today, they put out an alert to our neighborhood to be on the lookout for a pack of 4 or 5 coyotes seen living in a rain channel six blocks from my house… WTF!!! Shouldn’t even be an alert. If they know they are there, put the **** down or trap and relocate them. These animals have attacked kids in the not too distant past.
