Grabbed them on Good Faith in POLK AUDIO, as my current Stereo pair, POLK R10 Minis, have done nothing less than Impress
since i found them for dirt cheap at a thrift back in mid-2019;

    Switch out the current tweeters for a fresh set of RD-0194-1 and replace the poly switch with a .5ohm 12 watt vishay-mills resistors and enjoy.
    Surprising little set of speakers.

    Relocated the aftermarket/repro Logobadges... to more closely reflect the Advert Samples shown on the Owner's Manual;

    I've a Pair on the way. the stock Silver Coil Domes look cool in an exotic sort of way (to me, at least)
    but they sure don't sound cool, YMMV...

    When u get the 0194' s compare 1 tweeter over the other with a song u know best before putting both in. They are far better & sexy too :D . Those speakers look great. Enjoy

    That notion never made sense to me as you are not getting the full experience of either. Your auditory memory should easily differentiate between the sound.

    I do agree as a whole. I don't know, it's just me. I changed out 1 tweeter in 15tl's & listened to it & noticed a big difference over the stock tweet. Keep in mind I have hearing issues

    I Should be getting them tomorrow (11/16/24) and i am convinced that they will be a no-looking-back improvement.

    the stock Silver Domes sound great much of the time... but make Zero mistake about it;
    they do in fact break up very audibly under any serious HF Loading.

    I Indeed look forward to enjoying a 100% improvement in the very best speaker system i've ever owned, beginning Tomorrow...
