Another regular has been absent

It's been over a month since I've heard anything from @rooftop59. Not a substantial amount of time to be overly concerned however our private messaging was abruptly cut off and I can't help but wonder if he's okay!

You aren't kidding....I am so glad I was hunting and buying many years ago, as so much of what I amassed has gone for ridiculous prices today. At least the asking prices from non-dealer seller can be absurd.

I have doubles and in some case triples of my favorite old stock tubes to last me another generation..... But tube hunting/buying has become very expensive comparatively. Plus, I just don't have the time to look at all the tubes for sale. I have 98% of what I have ever wanted.

There was a time when I would look at 90% of the FS photo's and ask questions to find those gems amongst the mediocre tubes that the seller never knew they had. I found a lot of Euro gems that way. It was very tedious and time consuming, but rewarding and I bought some killer tubes for under market value. I always enjoy the hunt as much or more.
