thoughts on Pomsky lapdog … never owned a puppy

Gotta hair up my arse … and thinking about a new pup … A friend has got one left… Male. The 3 beaches went quickly.
He’s cute AF

We introduced the new guy to my pitbull mix and they got along great, so I guess minimal worries there.

I’ve never had a puppy before

The puppy training and the thought of teething on my speakers is kind of driving me crazy… Any thoughts or help is appreciated

Is there anything I should look out for? …. any help would be appreciated

    Crate training is the only way with puppies unless you never leave them alone but if done right dogs love crates.

    You have to be able to watch your puppy like a hawk.

    Consistency, positive reinforcements, etc

    Things that are not cute when dog is full grown should not be entertained when dog is a puppy.

    It may be cute that he chews on your shoe ss a pup but won't be cute when he eats them as a dog.

    Dogs are pack animals and if you give them the chance to rule the house, they will.

    Highly recommend training classes if you've never trained one

    We have a 100 pound Poodle that says any dog can be a lapdog.
