Mitsubishi LT-5V Vertical Turntable

The end of record/arm return-stop quit working on the Mitsubishi LT-5V. They used bulbs and photocells for operation. There is a plate with slots in it at top in front of arm bar. Light shines through and triggers stop though a small slot blocked by the bar.
The stop LED in the arm was bad. I had replaced all the bulbs with LED's a couple years ago. I verified the resistor choice put them below the 20mA max current. The other two LED's were still good. Oh well, al fixed now. Also replaced strobe LED's.

Great work, and very interesting, since I always 'assumed' those Mitsubishi turntables were direct drive."This may not matter to you, but it does to me for various reasons, many of them illogical or irrational, but the vinyl hobby is not really logical or rational..." - member on Vinyl Engine

Thanks! Same here! When I got it years ago, I saw the strobe and read they had PLL (phase-locked loop) and thought the same. It is really a nice sounding and great performing table. Folks that never knew vertical turntables existed are amazed by it.Salk SoundScape 8's * Audio Research Reference 3 * Bottlehead Eros Phono * Park's Audio Budgie SUT * Krell KSA-250 * Harmonic Technology Pro 9+ * Signature Series Sonore Music Server w/Deux PS * Roon * Gustard R26 DAC / Singxer SU-6 DDC * Heavy Plinth Lenco L75 Idler Drive * AA MG-1 Linear Air Bearing Arm * AT33PTG/II & Denon 103R * Richard Gray 600S * NHT B-12d subs * GIK Acoustic Treatments * Sennheiser HD650 *
