Recommendation for type of subwoofer and amplifier

Hi, I recently bought a SuperSony subwoofer

5.1 MULTIMEDIA SPEAKER

Rating: AC220V-240V-50Hz

Model no.: DM-449

Output Power: 45W+15Wx5CH.
I have Sony surround speakers

SONY®

MODEL NO. SS-MSP16

SPEAKER SYSTEM

MAGNETICALLY SHIELDED TYPE

RATED IMPEDANCE: 40

What type of subwoofer and amplifier would you recommend?

Can my current subwoofer power these speakers without an amplifier?

I'm not sure there's' enough information to make a recommendation.

Do you have a processor of some kind, tuner, receiver, anything? I'm wondering why you are asking for a type of subwoofer when you have one listed, do you want a second one? Are you able to say how you would power your speakers with your subwoofer? What is your goal?

I have a legitimate question, is this a sincere 1st post, or are you phishing?
