Sellers and Buyers Rules and guidelines

Hello everyone,
It seems that we have lost the original rules post for what is allowed within our sellers section.
I am going to have them posted here so they can be viewed easily and a sticky thread in each sellers section to link here for new and current members alike.
The Rules for Buying and Selling are as followed.
General Conduct:
Respect: Treat all forum members with respect, regardless of their experience or opinions.
Civility: Avoid using offensive language, personal attacks, or discriminatory remarks.
Search: Before posting a new question, use the forum's search function to see if it has already been answered.
1. The For Sale section on the Polk Audio forum is an earned privilege. You must have 100 meaningful contributing posts on the main forum before you can sell in our classified section.
2. You must state a price you would like for the item being sold. You can also include "or best offer" but you must state a price regardless. No auction type sales!
3. Selling for a friend is not allowed, you must take full responsibility for the sale of an item and if you are going to sell for a friend, you must post as if it is your own item and take responsibility for the item being sold. You can only sell for non-members IF you take 100% responsibility for the item being sold AND have 100 or more meaningful posts.
4. Please be descriptive of the sale price, as well as shipping and location of the item.
As a community, it is part of our responsibility to help weed out any scammers. Please report any suspicious activity.
