Greetings! thank you, in advance, for your help!
I am getting ready to sell these 2 amps for a friend. Upon powering them up, the VU needle on one of them is swinging erratically.

Never power up a tube amp without a load, aka speakers.Political Correctness'.........defined

Bad capacitors in the power supply. Quite common at the age of these amps. Send them to Greg at Nelson Audio - he’s a fantastic tech and is fully authorized by Bob Carver (in fact, he’s probably working with Bob right now at Carverfest).
