Tuning two (2) subs to a room…?

My rebuilt HT (after a flood) is rapidly coming together. Prior to the flood, I was running my beloved Velodyne DD18. As some of you may or may not know, the Velodyne DD series had an extremely thorough room setup procedure, involving a calibration mic, on-board test tone, 8 band parametric EQ and GUI output to TV.
In the new HT I will be running 2x SVS SB4000 subs. I recently realized that I have no idea how to tune TWO subs to a room. Set one up for optimal performance, then add the other and tune it to fill in? Try and tune both at the same time? The SB4000 has a 3 band parametric EQ, not to mention the Marantz 6015 and whatever tuning capabilities IT has…
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Minidsp makes great products for this purpose- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Looking at the information about the Marantz 6015 it looks like there are 2 independent subwoofer outputs. If that is the case, you could try using Audyssey first let that control the EQ initially. The SVS manual should have a guide on what initial settings to use. Also, the Audyssey App gives a little more adjustability to manipulate the curves and other parameters. I think it used to be $20 but well worth it. Just remember if you are going to use the App you have to run the calibration/sweeps through the App (Audyssey MultEQ Editor). Depending on your room this may not be enough, but it is an easy way to get started.2 Channel

Yes, the audyssey app is still $20. I just bought it but haven't run it yet. I echo above. Get the app, run audyssey, then use the SVS eq to manually tweak.
If that's not enough, Dirac Live is far and away the best auto calibration software, including for subs. I use it in my two channel with dual diy sub-stands and the difference is night and day. I actually have a minidsp with Dirac live in the closet that I should sell.
