Scott Stapp towards the end really put on a crap show.. Let's be real
Their music is great otherwise
Alter bridge is also fun to listen to- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Saw them in Portland Maine when they 1st started years ago. They were good. A band out of Mass opened for them & kicked their a$$ IMO & that band I never heard on any radio channel in Maine at that time. They were called Godsmack & they rocked & still do. Scotts comeback was awesome & I wish him & the band do well. His vocals sound great IMO. I really like Alter Bridge as well.
EDIT: At the time this Creed concert was. I was delivering trailer loads of groceries to N.E. University Store in Boston right down Huntington & Mass Ave area & I didn't listen to local radio channels as I live in Maine & carried CDs/XM in tractor.. -

Not last night, they were on top of their game/tight, Scott looked great/healthy, and sounded fantastic. he is a great front man.
I saw them 25 years ago, and I felt that same way. I never saw them when they were falling apart, but remember the stories of Scott, he has definitely turned things around.
Have always loved Alter Bridge.boston1450 wrote: »Saw them in Portland Maine when they 1st started years ago. They were good. Back in the day I was a huge fan of Godsmack, seen them a handful of times, they kicked ****.
We seen them just a few months ago, the wife and I walked away disappointed, a band that opened up for them (Bad Omens) blew us away, loved them..
Last night we saw Creed at the same facility, and Creed blew Godsmack away, after Creed played one song, the wife said, this is what I expected from Godsmack, she was correct, all Creed had to do was play one song to outshine a whole show by Godsmack.
It wasn't that Godsmack sounded bad, but Sully, and the band was missing that energy, and magic from days past..
Creed is back, and worth seeing on this tour..

Had a GF that had the hots for Sully Erna. Every time I played one of their songs she wanted to get drunk and skrew. Godsmack has given me SO many good memories...

Enjoy both as well. Don't know why the hate.
