"Hand me that other tube o' caulk, Shirley . . . and the Armor-All, too, while you're up."

The mis-matched screws just add to the overall effect.

Hey, at least it's not as bad as the Bose 901's Russ posted the other day.

Fortunately those are some pretty decent tweeters. Seas I believe.

That's a Philips polycarbonate dome tweeter, and they are very decent indeed. Prone to abuse and damage, though.

Guys...I'm just about ready to do my SDA 1.2TL's the same way as those Bose speakers, but want to make sure I have the right brand of adheasive caulk. Any suggestions would be helpful. Also, I could use some pointers on the technique used to apply the caulk to the drivers and/or cabinet. Obviously this wasn't a rush job done in 5 minutes. These things take time. If this turns out as good as I expect, I'm gonna do my 2.3's and 3.1's the same way. I'll post pics. Drooool......

OMG ...those poor Bose (as look to be classics) .

Reminds me of an idiot I sold some classic Altec's and AR's to , who put some kind of funky rubber coating on all the drivers to "waterproof" them (and applied it with a regular house paint brush no less) ....
    I wanted to cry . :(

What possesses these people to do such idiotic things .
