I got hooked on using a DVR to watch any TV due to being able to fast forward thru commercials.
Any experience with the 4th generation of this over the air TV recorder? Can you fast forward to skip commercials?

You can absolutely skip/FF past commercials. -

Either/or.
I generally use the thumbnails myself.
Their app works well on a Roku & a firestick (better on the former) too. -

Yeah.
That was a paid premium feature they offered for their prior versions.
The 4th gen ones don't offer that, but they also don't charge for the viewer guide now.
That's a bigger win, IMO.
