well...ive decided to give my electrical system a little bit of a break so im going to be picking up an energizer battery at pep boys to match the one i already have
i already have the battery tray installed...just need the battery...
i hope i have enough power wire...
i dont have any left over from knukonceptz...all i have is the RF 4awg i had from my original set up...which should be more than enough
other than that, i have 1/0awg...overkill...
im just going to wire them in parallel, im not going to mess with an isolator...no need for one IMO
ill have pics up for anyone that plans on doing it...
in my truck...i had no modifications...it was strictly bolt on
when i get my new truck im going to have to use a little more brain power cuz theres no place to directly put it
thought id share

I have always been wondering how to do that myself. I know you Parallel them. But what gauge wire? Isolator? I find it most confusing.
Chris -
im using 4...and its a pretty long run...well...its on the opposite side of the engine compartment
i just dont think 1/0awg is necessary
just run pos to pos, neg to neg
i was reading another forum when some guy asked how and they told him to do pos to neg on both
i was like no!!!!
you will kill your car!
lol...running your car's electrical system at 24V isnt exactly something you want to try

well---its 9:45 and im taking a break...
since i havent replaced the magic 3 yet...because im very lazy and i thought i was going to have dual batteries a longgggg time ago and i kept telling myself i was going to do it at the same time...thats what ive been doing...the ground from the battery to the chassis was a royal PITA...it was nearly impossible to get to because of the fan, belt, and various hoses
so far both batteries are in the truck but with no wires hooked up
im going to hook up the main battery to make sure i hooked up everything right...then on to connecting them
well...ive had my water break...
no sun in 2 hours and its still in the mid 80s...
