WTB: LSi15 in California

Just checking if anyone has a pair. I've long had the LSi9 and an LSiC, and only recently have the space (and urge) to complete a whole set. I spend time in both the LA and Bay Area, so anywhere in California should be reachable.

Thanks for the quick reply! I forgot to mention that I have the cherry LSi9's so I'm not sure I Want to get the ebony 15's. My full situation is here.
Have you had any issues with the 25's amp at all? Have you opened it up? Do you know if it's covered in black goo like pictures 3 and 4 here?

I have never opened up the 25's so I can't comment on any goo. I've had two sets of 25's and none have experienced any issues with regards to the amplifiers.

I sold a pair of 25's a year ago and they were a solid 9/10 in all aspects with regards to originality. The remaining 25's are a 7/10 cosmetically and the 15's are an 8/10.

Thanks for the info and the quick replies. Are you in a rush to sell, or can I get back to you? I want to hold out in the hope I can get cherry LSi15s still. Thanks.

  • Hello la2vegas, thanks for all the messages. The more I think about it, the more I think I'll want eventually want height speakers, and I want the speakers to match, so now I'm strongly leaning towards just jumping up to the Reserve line component by component. So I don't think I'll get your ebony LSi15's after all.
  • If you change your mind back, and still want LSi15's, there's an ebony set in Torrance, CA currently at $122 + $37 s/h to my location, with less than 3 days to go:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/226340913378

Actual shipping is surely $100+, so that seller is going to get burned by the automatic shipping calculator at checkout if the bid doesn't go much higher to offset the dimensions and/or weight error.

The bidding heated up in the final hours, not surprising with one person trying to protect his or her bid (the worst strategy ever for keeping the price low), and the number of watchers doubling after I posted the link here.
