Anyone with Cambridge CXN V2 experience?

All - I am considering Kevin’s CXN V2, but I am trying to make sure it will do what I am looking for it to do, and am hoping someone here will know…
I do not use any streaming services, nor am I interested in them. However, I have about 3tb of FLAC files on a portable SSHD. I currently have the drive connected to my Oppo 105 to access and play my FLAC files. While I enjoy the Oppo 105 sound, the interface to the SSHD is a bit clunky, and it freezes occasionally (from such a large file database, I’m told).
So the question is this - can I plug the SSHD into the CXN V2 and access all of my FLAC? I notice that the Cambridge has no video out, so has anyone used the “library” app? How would you rate it?

Question: Do you need the Cambridge to act as a DAC and streamer, or just the streamer? I wasn't sure if you were using your Oppo for output or if you had a separate DAC.For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...
