Suggestion! Power AMP

Ok, I need some feedback. I'm looking at the Parasound 2205 and
the Outlaw 755 power amps. I always want to get the best value
for the dollar. Money is always an issue. I might be able to get the
755 plus a amp stand, and interconnects for the same price of the
2205. I Havn't heard them. What you Think ?

Both of those options are getting to the age of being vintage and you might expect they need some refreshing (capacitors especially). A lot depends how they were used (closed hot cabinet), and the hours the amps were powered on. Time and heat are the enemy of capacitors (along with a plague of poor quality coming out of China from '99-'07).
Not sure what price range you are looking at, but either way, you should plan to take the cover off and look for any darkened areas on the boards, or any bulging or leaky capacitors. If this is beyond your skill-set, take it to a technician for a "checkup." The last thing you want to happen is for the amp to send out DC power to your speakers and burn the crossovers and voice coils.

Never heard an Outlaw, but always heard good things about them. Big fan of Parasound. Glad I could help you make a decision.🤣

Am I the only one who is thinking: Why is he asking about a 5 channel amp in the 2-channel audio section? :D
