My 1st one doesn't power up anymore without blowing fuses. They used that Chinese yellow glue profusely on components that may become brown and conductive over time. So far my 2nd one is going strong and really does sound excellent. I hope I haven't jinxed it now 🤞
PS: sometimes with certain crazy deep and prolonged low frequencies like in some movies and very rarely with audio material there may be a rattle. Maybe that is why they discontinued the model. I'm happy with it for $160.George / NJ

Just curious, why that model?
I have a few different ML subs after @rooftop59 introduced me to the Grotto, and I have to say, The Abyss was a profound experience. It's a 12, though.
Are you looking for a Dynamo 10 as a mate for an existing one or something?I disabled signatures. -
Might this be it?

Is that amplifier on the bottom?- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

If I'm not mistaken, those had a stand that allowed you to run different configurations. The Dynamo is a handsome, cuboidal little fellow that can be used in a forward or downward-firing configuration by attaching the stand to either the control side or driver side respectively. Bear in mind, if you go with the forward-firing configuration, the control knobs and sockets are on the under-side and rather hard to get to. -

Yep that's it! It can be front or down firing. Pretty nifty. And to @msg's question, it's much cheaper and easier to find that the abyss or the grotto for instance, and it has the proper hookups to be integrated in all kinds of ways.Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

Not gonna lie that's pretty cool. Would have been cooler if it was like a slot machine however- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Because I already have one of that model that I am looking for and would like 2. I use it with Mag 1.6QR. As they are designed for use with ML speakers they are quick and I have never felt the need to constantly keep adjusting like I have with others I tried.
On a different note been using the 1.6qr units for a few months and yesterday switched in my Mirage M3si speakers. The M3si are slightly warmer and more veiled. I then switched in my Mirage M3. They sound WAY more like the Magnepans and maybe slightly better in some ways while Mags better in others . The soft dome in the earlier M3 speakers just sound better then the next version with the Titanium tweeter.
I have compared the M3 and M3si over two different time periods in the last 5 years as I previously owned the same pairing and I reached the same conclusion every time. Is the 3si slightly quicker? Maybe. Little more dispersion? Maybe.slightly more refined? Maybe however lacks the clarity and definition of the orignal M3. The orignal M3 sounds more like the Mag 1.6qr
I had the M3si running early last summer after I found the correct mids and tweeters. and was going to sell the M3. The M3si sounded pretty good. About a year ago I decided to slip the M3 back in. After 5 minutes I put my head in my hands. I just like the M3 more and so does my wife.
I think the soft dome sounds better and also the Titanium on the 3si has a lower Xover so handles more of the band and I think that is audible.
Stereophile reviewed both and when they did the M3si the reviewer had used the M3 as his reference for a few years. He thought the 3si was an improvement and gave reasons some of which I agree with but over all I still think the 3 sound better and I think It is all about the tweeter. -
Yeah, I figured you must have been looking for a second one.
I haven't had a Dynamo 10 before, but several others still in use.
Good luck in your search. The ML subs seem to fly under the radar a bit, on the used market especially, unless someone has already owned one before.
