That is very cool. Thanks Ron-P, never even heard of it. No mention of it in any of my A/V mag.'s. I think in the years to come by the time D-VHS takes off(if it does) by then they will be producing HD on DVD format.
HD movies are very exciting

I believe we will see HD-DVD within the next 2-4 years. HD-VHS, doubt it will ever go anywhere, in the consumer market, professional market, maybe.

We have had digital vhs here in Australia for around 1 year and it has not taken off, maybe its the the price around 1300 dollars US and the blank tapes cost around 25 dollars US, the playback for picture & audio is so so. DVD kills it.The Wonder From Downunder

Because of HD-DVD WILL come it probably won't get for. But to jump to conclutions now days is not good. Many people told me the DVD and Playstation
that I first bought 6 years ago were going to go no where----I should have bought stock.:mad: -
had no ?'s about DVD..i owned about 20 dvd's b4 i had bought a dvd player.. did the same thing with cd's. had about 30 or so b4 i got the player..
i am a digital tech junkie...tape is bad.....unless it is duck tape:pSpeakers:
