Looking for two PSW1200s

I keep inching closer to completing my ultimate system, and yet even though it's 80% complete, it's far from being finished because of these two damn subwoofers which no one seems to have anywhere.

If anyone has a PSW1200 please let me know, I'll pay top dollar for one of them. Even if the amp is blown, I'll buy it off you, as long as the cabinet and drivers are in good condition. Hell, I don't even care about the mesh grille's condition.

Just need two of these guys and my RT5000-on-steroids setup will be complete and I can begin the process of upgrading the speakers with new parts to make them even better ;)

I know this is literally the best sub Polk ever made but there truly is better, more reliable subs readily available on the market
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Up to $500 Canadian each plus shipping, depending on condition of course. I'll take care of all customs forms and whatnot.

I just ask that people pack it well so it doesn't get dinged up like my CS1000p (which I'm working on a little project to restore it... or I'll go to a wood shop idk)

If you're gonna spend that much just by some Rythmik servo subs and be done with it.

I know, Trey. I am being fully honest when I say no one will change my mind on this. It's not even about having the best system for my money, I just want the novelty and matching aspect of it.

It'd just be kinda cool to own pretty much the best RT5000 system possible to build.

Also each sub weighs 110lbs which would be insanely expensive to ship, and would almost certainly arrive damaged. You should change your mind and think logically, instead of getting hung up on nostalgia and what kind of subwoofer was state of the art 25 years ago.

Fair enough. If I were to go and get a new subwoofer, what two could I look at getting which are in my price range and would compare to the PSW1200s?

I'll consider the LV12M. Looks like a solid product.

The old psw1200 was a different take on a subwoofer that's not as common today.

Lower compliance driver, big enclosure, low wattage

Where as more modern builds are high compliance drivers, small enclosures and high wattage amps.

Most modern day subs in the 500 to 700 with a 12 or 15 inch driver range will compete with the psw1200, imo. Sound quality wise I think all of the rythmik offerings will be superior.

I have a PSW1200 in the original box in a closet somewhere - it would be a massive pain in the **** to dig it out, but let me know if you're still interested - I'm in Utah, 84111.

That's probably $200 or more to ship up north? Nice offer, but I would think @ChrisD06 might come to your sense and get something else. HSU, SVS, monoprice monolith would all be good HT options. The Rythmik would be great if this is this in mainly for music, but pretty sure its not 😂. With the bass you have coming from the rest of the speakers, I would get one good HT sub and call it a day.

This comes from someone with three front speakers with 10-inch built-in subs that all hit down to around 30hz. I run them full range with one sub with Audyssey XT-32 and it all blends very well and I certainly don't sense any bass holes or shortcomings...

How much would you want for it? Shipping is $200 last time I checked (Canadian dollars) so rooftop hit the nail on the head.

I suppose that's my first question before proceeding any further.
