See⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️. The sub will wake up from Standby when sent calibration test tones or powered down/up

Someone in the Polk Brotherhood May know where to obtain this elusive info.

It seems the internet has a ton of information on the amp repair but little if any on ⬆️

TIA. Tony

Give a shout to Greg at Nelion Audio ( https://nelionaudio.com/ ). He is a fantastic tech (he currently has a couple of my amps in for service/upgrade). He has spent a great deal of tie working side-by-side with Bob Carver himself, and he has Bob’s endorsement as a repair facility for ALL of Bob’s designs (even Lightstar).

I believe that Frank Malitz out Ilinois does Sunfire and carver repairs on subwoofers. I think the email is carversunfire@gmail.com my friend had his Sunfire powered von Schweikert subs repaired there. I’m pretty sure he would send his lightstar amps there too.

I can't tell if your serious or joking?
I wouldn't let that guy walk my dog a block!
Have you ever talked to the guy?
Have you ever had him work on anything?
I talked to him, I got up and left the room he was in at axponia a few years ago. To hear him sit there and bad mouth Bob Carver and talk about how much better he was than Bob Carver and he could design gear better than Bob Carver and if it wasn't for him Bob Carver wouldn't have a name in the audio industry
    That guy's a freaking toad!!!
You know what? You never got to hear the stuff in his room because he never shut the **** up.

I was just passing on information a friend gave me. Apparently you have a different opinion than my friend who had work done by him.

I don’t know the guy and haven’t personally delt with him, but my friend has. If he’s a jerk I will take your word for it.

Absolutely! He was a member here for a short time. The guy is so full of himself, according to him we need to kneel down to him because he's the only reason we have audio gear in the U.S. because he made it happen.
    He's slime!

    Huge thanks for the input.

Sorry I’ve unlearned how to receive email notifications from a thread I authored.
