Frankensteined SDA SRS to restore or part out?

Hello All,

I took possession of a pair of SDA SRS speakers from the wife of an audio buddy. He was a wonderful man but in his spare time he "upgraded" a pair of SRS. They currently have 10 correct 6503 drivers and 6 Midwest Speakers 6502-4 ohm drivers. All 8 tweeters look to be RD0194. Crossovers look original and cabinets are OK with some water staining on the base of one and some mars in the paint on the rears.

I found 4 more working 6503s in his garage. I can get a pair of dented but working 6503s from a popular auction site for about $70.

I have no idea why he used the nominal 4 ohm Midwest 6502-4s instead of the MW 6503s.

As I have no open space to use these my intent is to sell them. I would rather sell them as a complete pair as I do not like the idea of parting them out.

Basically I am wondering if the community would recommend putting the 6503s back in or if there might have been a good reason to use the 6502-4s and if so where they should be installed ( stereo vs. canceling line array ).

Located north of Atlanta in Dawsonville, Ga.

Thanks in advance.
