Should I get the SDA-1As?

I was lucky and fortunate to get a near mint pair of SDA-1Cs from @gyosa last week.
The owner of the RTA-12 (original) that I got last month has a pair of SDA-1As (I’ve asked if he has the interconnect cable) with one woofer frozen (which I can repair or replace).
I’m a big Polk fan and now almost becoming a collector. Attached are pictures of the SDA-1A; they seem to have the dreaded SL-2000 tweeters which I’ll replace with the 194s.
1. Are they worth getting - as good or better than the Monitor 7Bs? I know they are nowhere close to the 1Cs (which have the 194s).
2. Given the condition: 1 woofer frozen, stock tweeters, what would be a fair price to pay for these assuming he has the grills and interconnect cable? And fair price in this condition without the interconnect cable and grills (in case those are missing)?
Thank you!
Thank you!

If you truly ARE (not almost) a collector then there has to be a price that would be worth it, but otherwise I think you'd be slumming it a bit compared to the 1Cs. There are a couple of reviews of the SDA1:

Thank you; I’ll read them. I honestly don’t know what a true collector is. For me, I love this era Polk speakers (as well as the LS); I have multiple systems at home and not planning to sell any. I will rotate speakers if I have more speakers than receivers.
He wants $120 with grills and without the interconnect cable.

The SDA 1C's are much better speakers. If I had SDA SRS 1.2tl's I sure wouldn't be looking for first gen SDA SRS, there's no point in going bakerds.

I’d spend your money upgrading the crossovers in the 1c’s …
That’s where you’ll reap the biggest rewards .
Those speakers are in good enough condition to justify it .

Oh no, not at all going back! The 1Cs are keepers in my room. One of the living room has Monitor 7Bs so was considering the SDA-1As to replace them.

Of course! That is definitely the next thing to do. The itch in me wants to have the SDA-1As in one of the living room which currently has the Monitor 7Bs -
The 7B is the best non-SDA speaker Polk ever made. The 1A isn't on the same planet.Political Correctness'.........defined
