Is it worth getting monitor RTA-15TLs for $50?

Someone just wants to get rid of his 15ts, description indicated one works other doesn't. Cabs, grills look decent. I really don't need another project (working on an 8t at the moment), but thinking of getting. I can deal with crossover & tweeter upgrades and magnet shifts, wondering whether it is better to get and part out or to upgrade and sell. These are less desirable than others I believe, not sure what the market would bare?

Comments appreciated.

Do you have a room where they can sit 3'-4' from the back wall?

@pitdogg2 Hahaha, no way. It is more of fixing them up and moving them along, really just a project.

They're always great for picking up for spare drivers.. :D Especially at that price..

Polk’s red-headed stepchild. $400 was too low for me to sell mine and the rest is history. For $50, I’d buy a spare pair for parts.

I’d love to get some more experienced ears than mine on them, but especially with what I’ve been fortunate to assemble around them (amp, DAC, cables, room treatments, subs, etc.), to me they sound outstanding.

Well they would have if his guy that did the crossovers could handle a soldering iron.
    That guy was a hack!!

I heard he used a soldering gun and a half eaten Snickers bar.

Well, be careful who you trust! @msg just gave away the “secret sauce” to the rest of youze crossover gurus! 😝

Yes, it was I who disagreed with your post there, @pitdogg2! Forever grateful, sir! 👍

Pffft, honestly I don't give a rats rear end who disagrees. If I can't make fun of myself that just leaves that Mark guy.....
