355 vs 8-T's?

Greetings - first post, be kind...
I have a pair an old, excellent condition KLH 355's. The last time I lit them up, I powered them with a Pioneer SA-8500. They sounded barely ok, but not as I remembered my old EPI 120's.
I currently am very, very happy with my Polk 8-t's driven by a Denon 697CI. They sound even better with the addition of an Onkyo SKW-980 sub.
My question is: should I clean the pots on the 355's and try them again in comparison to the 8-T's, or stick with my current set-up?
Thanks in advance for any thoughts...

Clean the pots.
If you decide to sell, they’ll sound that much better.
