What should I replace the LS90 tower tweeters with?

I am early on in my journey into the world of audio. I recently replaced a pair of Polk T50 towers with a pair of LS90s. I got them at what I considered a nice price knowing they'd they need some work.
The main work needed is a tweeter replacement. Only one has a clear puncture, but I'm assuming I should change both.
When I unscrewed the current tweeter, I found this odd shape (I was expecting a circle) and now I'm struggling on deciding how to order a 3rd party replacement.
The entire space to fill is roughly 3.75 inches while the back of the tweeter that is inserted is 2.25 inches.
I'm a bit over my head here, so all help is appreciated!

I'd go wit Polk SL-5000 silk dome tweeter (It's 3.75" diameter too). Smooth and articulate and crosses well at @2K Hz.Don't take experimental gene therapies from known eugenicists.
