Don't know anything about this center channel but thought I'd mention it. The ad says it's normally $179.99 for whatever that's worth. This is at the San Diego and San Marcos stores it looks like.

I think the R series is being discontinued nationwide, so that would include the CSi20. Maybe Fry's is picking up the Monitor series too..
-
This would be a good opportunity to get some of your friends into decent quality HT at a really good price.
-
it is so bad there is no Fry's in the middle west:(

Hellotheworld, I am sure if you are interested and asked nicely someone could make a trip for you. Maybe anyways.
-
I thought they opened one in Chicago?
-
I did a search and the one in Chicago has soft-opened with the grand opening coming soon. This thread shows where it's located.

Thanks!
Nothing special I'm interested right now but last month you see that LSi7 sale...
I'm in a small University town, 2 hrs from Chicago... -
Ya, their was the same deal in my Fry's ad in Portland, Oregon. Last week I picked up the R20 bookshelf speakers for 78 a pair, and today I will be getting the Csi20 for 69. I'm very excited.Sooner or later you're going to realize, just as I did, there's a difference between knowing the path...and walking it.

Welcome to the forum arufener. You have good reason to be excited. What fronts are you planning on getting? R50s would be a nice match to what you have started.
-
Well that same week they had R30's on sell for 44 each, I was planning on getting those but they were sold out, and now they are discontinued. I really like the R50's, but unless I get a good deal, they might not be in my price range. Hopefully I will though. I've also thought about getting some Yamaha Fronts. I've heard good things about yamaha speakers. But Polk's would be the best.
thanks

Yeah, get matching Polks. $44 each is a really good deal on those.
-
44$! That's a steal!
I bought open box R30 for 60$ each from CC, I thought that was cheap enough, but...
I also saw some one said they bought RTi70 for 99$ each, what a world! -
well as far as I can tell, I've been asking around at circuit city, frys, and others. They say that they are discontinuing the R-series
thanks
