I have a half acre back yard that we spend a lot of time in. Near I95. So the road noise has to be overcome when considering an audio set up.
I'm thinking this amp (great reviews on Amazon). Obviously it must be class D. Seems like plenty of power for these speakers. Skar Audio 8 inch 2 way Marine speakers to be mounted under my roofs overhang. And 1 of thier 10 inch Marine subwoofers. I'll plug the links in in the next post. The speakers will be easily hard wired to the amp that will sit just inside the house on a shelf in my laundry room.
Every portable "high output" Bluetooth speaker I've tried out there fails to delivery what I am looking for. On my third one now. About to return it.
Can you guys give some opinions please?
Also my biggest question/concern is a box that will hold up to the elements. I was thinking I could buy cheap prefabbed boxes for car audio. Strip the carpet off and spray them with a lacquer then dust them in white paint.
This would be in central FL outdoors. Yuk!

Which BT speakers have you tried? For that size space it would need to be one of the expensive JBL models I'm assuming, or one designed for PA use.

Hahah lol, I just realized they make outdoor speakers. No need to retrofit some marine grade speakers. 😆 🙄
